Hi everyone and welcome to a new post! 🗯👓🗜🔦

Today I want to talk about a new trend which is Modern Industrial chic design. Two years ago I actually gave a new look to my guest house with a fresh and classy industrial look.
We basically chose it because it’s not too hard to achieve and we loved minimalism and also pop art and the factory “style”.
It’s of course more popular in big cities as New York and London but that doesn’t mean you can’t go for it if you live in a small town.
The thing I like the most about is the open space, given by the high ceilings and the small amount of forniture. This style is more about working with what you have, getting rid of stuff you don’t use and accessories your house.
It is a really essential style.
Another thing that I like about it is the cool tone, the colder colors used, but even if i wouldn’t say it’s the coziest atmosphere you can make it warmer by using materials like wood and also colors like bronze and copper and by adding accessories like pillows and blankets with some kind of texture.
Of course vintage objects are totally in for this style, so don’t put those away.
Finally, lighting is fundamental, so big windows are preferred and also light bulbs hanging directly from the ceiling.
Hope you get inspired by the pictures (credits to the owners of the pictures that are listed below):
